and welcome to what I expect to be a lively exchange about "American Innovators" in the world of music. I will organize the blog so that each member of the class can contribute as an author (that it make your own entries) as well as comment on other posts. I would like this to be one of the focuses of our learning as we move through the semester and explore what "innovation" might mean to you, with respect to music and what we might mean by "American."
